Ingredients:

1 cup sushi rice
1 1/4 cups water
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Nori seaweed sheets
Imitation crab meat
Cucumber, julienned
Avocado, sliced

Steps:

Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
In a pot, combine the rice and water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
In a small saucepan, heat the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Let cool.
Transfer the cooked rice to a large bowl and gently fold in the vinegar mixture until well combined.
Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread a layer of sushi rice evenly on the nori, leaving a small border at the top.
Arrange crab meat, cucumber, and avocado in a line across the middle of the rice.
