Classic Strawberry Jam Recipe

Ingredients:

Strawberry jam
Strawberry jam

1 kg fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
800 g granulated sugar
Juice of 1 lemon

Steps:

In a large saucepan, combine the strawberries and sugar. Let it sit for about an hour to allow the sugar to macerate the berries.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
Add the lemon juice and continue to cook the jam until it reaches the desired consistency, about 20-30 minutes.
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before transferring to sterilized jars.
Seal the jars and store in a cool, dark place until ready to enjoy on toast or scones.

Ingredients:

1 kg fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
600 g granulated sugar
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
