Classic Cinnamon Roll Recipe

Ingredients:

Cinnamon buns
Cinnamon buns

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 packet active dry yeast
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup melted butter

Steps:

In a large bowl, mix together 1 cup of flour, sugar, and yeast.
In a saucepan, heat milk, butter, and water until warm. Add to the flour mixture along with salt and egg. Mix well.
Gradually add the remaining flour until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes then let rise for 1 hour.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
Roll up the dough and cut into slices. Place in a greased pan and let rise for 30 minutes.
Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy warm!

1 cup chopped dates
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup heavy cream

Steps:
