Akara Banana Fritters

Ingredients:

– 2 ripe bananas
– 1 cup of flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon of salt
– 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
– 1/4 cup of sugar
– 1/2 cup of milk
– Oil for frying

Steps:

1. Peel and mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar.
3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mashed bananas, stirring well to combine.
4. Slowly pour in the milk while stirring, until a thick batter forms.
5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
6. Drop spoonfuls of the banana batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
