Classic Baked Ziti

Ingredients:

BA’s Best Baked Ziti

1 lb ziti pasta
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 jar of marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Cook ziti pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
Add marinara sauce to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta and meat sauce. Mix well.
Transfer mixture to a baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve hot and enjoy!

Spicy Sausage Ziti

Ingredients:

1 lb ziti pasta
1 lb spicy Italian sausage, casings removed
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 can diced tomatoes
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Cook ziti pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, brown sausage with red bell pepper. Drain excess fat.
Add diced tomatoes, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
Serve hot and enjoy the spicy kick!
