Classic Margherita Pizza Sauce

Ingredients:

2 cloves garlic, minced

Steps:

Add garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Crush the tomatoes with your hands and add them to the saucepan along with their juices.

Ingredients:

2 red bell peppers
1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Steps:

Roast the red bell peppers over an open flame or under the broiler until charred on all sides. Place in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let steam for 10 minutes.
